DO YOU HAVE FAITH?

Faith is an Action Not a Religion!

“If we do not stand firm in our faith, we will not stand at all.”

I happened upon Isaiah 7: 7-9 from the Bible. Before those of you who don’t read the Bible, or believe in God, shut me out, stick with me for a few seconds. There is a basic, common sense principle found herein, to recognize and convey.

This is a principle that, I believe, applies across the board. I invite you to consider what you think about these analogous thoughts deduced from this passage of scripture.

Written in the 8th century BCE, here is a small section of that account.

But this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

Vs 8 ….”for Syria is no stronger than its capital, Damascus, and Damascus is no stronger than its King, Rezin.

Vs 9 …”Israel is no stronger than its capital , Samaria,

and Samaria is no stronger than its king, Pekah,…

Unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you stand firm.”

I wondered how these considerations could be adapted to our modern day world and, lo and behold, it was pretty straightforward.

Canada is no stronger than its capital, Ottawa, and Ottawa is no stronger than its Prime Minister, Trudeau.

America is no stronger than its capital, Washington, and Washington is no stronger than its president, Biden.

As we watch the degradation of our countries (and we could name many more, in this very same fashion, but just focusing on North America right now) it’s not an ingenious equation.

It is by now blatantly obvious that both Washington and Ottawa are corrupt and debased to the core, probably far worse than our imaginations dare to believe. The same is true for their respective leaders.

It is basically 1+1=2. Corruption yields more corruption. It makes complete sense that the country is as strong as its capital, and the capital is as strong as its leader.

You and I are not “the capital” or “the king” which are completely morally militarily, industrially, financially, etcetera, weakened. “The capitals” and “the kings” are no longer strong, which has yielded a weakening of the country.

The strength of our country has eroded exponentially.

Though we cannot directly do anything about the integrity, and/or corruption of our leaders, this is where we must recognize our personal and collective sovereignty.

WE are “the nation”.

This is where that last line of the scriptural reference nails down a powerful foundation.

“Unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you stand firm” (New Living Translation)

“If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.” (New International Version)

We all believe, have faith, in something. For some it’s God, for others it’s a faith in themselves, or an honest work ethic, or a set of rules to live by. Faith is a verb, an action.

We DO have a common faith in which we can stand together.

It is the common bond, faith, if you will, that united, we can as “the Nation” bring our country back to freedom and national strength.

We’re on the right track. Keep it up, don’t fall back. But keep going in a forward motion toward the goal. We will continue to pick up momentum in every way, only keep going, do not stop. It is paramount that we continue to grow in strength and numbers in community and unity.

So ask yourself, what are you doing to help? What active role are you taking in Manitoba Stronger Together?

Do you have faith enough in a righteous future to raise yourself up above the crowd?

Is it enough to read a blog post, sit quietly and anonymously in a Zoom meeting or share something on Facebook and then go back to your other distractions?

Is that enough faith to change the world?

I leave you to answer that question.

You’ve heard us say many times that Manitoba stronger together is only about 7 months old and yet we are interacting with 47,000 Manitobans.

However,  how many of those 47,000 Manitobans are active?

How many of them attend the live meetings?

How many engage in the Zoom meetings?

How many of the 47,000 volunteered to send out invitations to their MLA's?

How many baked the cinnamon buns?

Winston Churchill once said “never was so much owed by so many to so few”, and unfortunately, very often in the freedom movements, this rings more true than ever.

Churchill also said, “never, never, ever give up….”,  which requires commitment and uncompromising faith.

What will you tell your grandchildren, years from now? Sorry, I was too busy. I went to the game, and out for dinner. Sorry, Sorry...NOW IS THE TIME, not the time for empty words and dark room keyboard warriors and passive observation, now is the time to have faith in those words you listen to every week, now is the time to put your hand and back into it.

So, you have to ask yourself, do you have faith?

Do you have courage?

Are you ready to put your actions ahead of your words, to lend a hand to join the group of brave souls who are looking out above the crowd; who are looking forward and who, all with God‘s help are committed, in and to, the action of faith to restore democracy to our nation.

In addition to the points you raise in your message, a very fundamental issue at the very core of what is happening in our country is a constitutional one. Many Canadians are unaware of the coup that occurred in 1982 by P.E.T and provincial premiers when the constitution was patriated from the U.K. Rather than name the Canadian and Indigenous First Nations people as the sovereign owners of Canada, P.E.T directed the U.K. parliament to name The Privy Council of Canada and Parliament as the sovereign owners without the consent of the people. For full details, please refer to www.thecpu.ca Please share this message with all of your readers/viewers/supporters. It is important to educate ALL Canadians.

You said it well. The time to stand is now. It's never too late but why let the sufferings go on. We are stronger together, Manitoba Stronger, Canada Stronger.
