An Open Invitation to the RCMP

Today as a follow up to our August 16, 2022, Registered Letter to Winnipeg RCMP Commanding Officer, Mr. Scott Kolody, we have extending a formal invitation to the RCMP to have a spokesperson address the Gathering at 1091 Portage Avenue, September 3rd, at 1:00pm.

As a follow up to the registered letter that we sent to Commanding Officer Scott Kolody on August 16, 2022, (Copy Attached). We would like to invite a representative from the RCMP to speak to the assembly of citizens who will be present at D Division Headquarters on September 3, 2022, at 1:00 pm. This would be an opportunity for the RCMP to directly address some of the concerns of the gathered citizens. The Gathering of Citizens will be peaceful, and the intentions of the gathering is as outlined in the attached document, sent to Commanding Officer Kolody. We have requested that the Winnipeg Police Service be in attendance to ensure the safety of all participants. The RCMP 's Representative will be given the greatest respect and their comments will be included in the formal agenda of events. The RCMP's Spokesperson's comments would be scheduled following the opening prayer, the national anthem, and the keynote address by our spokesperson. We request that presentations be limited to around 10 minutes. The RCMP Spokesperson remarks will be followed by the remarks of two retired Winnipeg Police Service Members, and one media personality.
